About Soul Frame Cycles
Hi, I'm Roger, the mechanic behind Soul Frame Cycles.
I'm Cytech qualified and have worked in the bicycle industry since leaving school.
Over the years I've worked with some great names in the cycling industry, including Giant, Pembury Cycles, Chain Reaction Cycles and you'll still see me working alongside Gary Harris Cycles.
I'm a keen cyclist too. Whilst my triathlon and BMX competitions are sadly behind me, I still enjoy mountain biking, bikepacking and sportifs. This means that I understand how important your bicycle is, whether you're heading out for a weekend ride, commuting to work, getting the kids out on their bikes or preparing for your next race.
I pride myself on always doing the right thing.
This means I won't exaggerate a problem to sell you work you don't need, and I won't add unnecessary extras to your invoice. I'll always be upfront about what needs doing, why it needs doing and what your best options are.
Sometimes a bicycle needs a full service. Sometimes it just needs a small adjustment. My job is to diagnose the problem, then help you make an informed decision that keeps you and your bicycle happy.

I'm happy to fit customer-supplied parts where appropriate, but encourage you to get in touch to make sure they're the correct fit for your bicycle and that you're getting the right part for your budget at the best price.
At the end of the day, I want you to feel confident that both you and your bicycle have been looked after properly.

Meet the Soul Frame Cycles Family
Soul Frame Cycles is more than just me - it's a family business.
My partner, Kirstie, supports with pop up events and admin tasks and responds to mobile queries whilst I'm working (she's much better at writing - I prefer talking!)
My teenager is starting to learn the trade and will readily help me during the school breaks.
Our 10yr old rescue dog Ollie thinks he's the boss. He loves nothing more than meeting new people at selected pop up events (particularly if they open his treat jar) - he's semi-retired now so you won't see him often though!

"I called out Soul Frame cycles (Roger) to help my son who was stranded with a puncture. What a service as soon as I called he set off met up with my son, repaired the puncture and then took my son and his bike to meet up with the people he was riding with, and, if that wasn’t enough he gave him some tyre levers and patches to get him through the rest of the day. Awesome service! I can’t speak highly enough of Roger and Soul Frame Cycles. I will most definitely be using them again"

"Honestly cannot fault the service, easy booking and quick turnaround. Came on time and spent an hour with my bike. I told him I am training for my first Ironman and he gave me lots of advice on my bike and I will definitely be booking with Roger again when I need more stuff done. He also had a look at my partners bike last minute which was super helpful - will be booking again"

"I called Roger relating to issues with our 2 e-bikes. Roger offered to come out to us within the hour to investigate the 2 different faults. . What an amazing prompt service...he fixed one issue on one of the bikes quickly & referred us to a battery cell specialist who he works alongside for the other bike issue.... can't fault his promptness, customer service & efficiency. We will definitely be calling Roger for any future fixes/servicing
